STUDENT VISION STATEMENT

Master’s Christian School is dedicated to four essential aspects of each student’s education:

Student:

We seek to graduate each student with the, understanding, conviction and commitment to live their lives from a Christian worldview; who think clearly and listen carefully with discernment and understanding, who reason persuasively and articulate precisely, who are capable of evaluating their entire range of experiences in the light of the Scriptures, and who do so with eagerness in joyful submission to God. In teaching the Christian worldview, we seek to impart the graciousness, humility and character that is associated with the gracious love and mercy of our Lord along with the insight to bring all of life under the Lordship of Christ. We desire they have a heart for the lost and the courage to seek to dissuade those who are stumbling toward destruction. As a means to maintain these things as a lifelong endeavor we seek to provide the tools of learning and foundational mastery of their education to equip them for any course of life they seek to pursue.

Parents as Pillars:

We believe that parents are a pillar in the education of their children, as referenced in Deuteronomy 6:4-9. We seek to equip and support parents in a Christ-centered approach, enabling them to be active teachers to their children in all aspects of learning at The Master’s Christian School.

Staff & Board:

We seek to cultivate and support these same qualities in our staff and school board. Knowing that our staff and board are also pursuing these qualities provides the trust and devotion necessary to be diligent in their work, free to employ their Godly given gifts of teaching and/or leadership with compassion for all students. We desire to see staff and board members coach and nurture new MCS community members and to serve as academic mentors to students and/or families in the pursuit of discipleship and knowledge.

Community:

We aim to have a relationship within our local community that is above all reproach both spiritually and in economic and business affairs. In honoring our Christian community, we will seek to develop fellowship with and understanding of our ministry among the churches in our community.
